A sizable group of HOHAs went in to run the NYRR Team Championships 5 Mile race on August 7. The men's
open team placed 20th overall in this very competitive event.
Sheba was elected and installed as the new president of the Hoboken Harriers on June 1.
Veronica, Sheba's personal assistant, sent a picture of the new president sporting a
HOHA Classic t-shirt. Sheba succeeds past presidents Jack and Brooks.
On May 16, the Hoboken Harriers Running Club
and All Saints Community Development Corporation held the 12th
annual HOHA Classic 5-Mile Race at Pier A Park. The race raised over $16,000,
which will benefit the Jubilee Family Life Center, a non-denominational
community center in Hoboken that provides job training and after school
youth programs. Over 470 people completed the races, and a special thanks
to everyone who helped make the event a wonderful success.
The 14th Annual HOHA Snowball was held on Saturday, February 27, at the Hoboken Elk's Club.
An excellent buffet dinner was catered by La Isla,
and live music was provided by Swingadelic.
Over $2000 was raised which will be donated to United Cerebral Palsy of Hudson County and the Jubilee
Family Life Center in Hoboken. A special thanks to everyone who helped to make this a very successful event.

Newlyweds Richard and Suzanne hosted the annual HOHA-liday Party this year. It was a very well
attended event and closes out a very successful 2009 for the HOHAs.

The Monmouth County Fall Cross Country
Series has concluded its six week run for this year. HOHAs of all ages and abilities
made the weekly trip to Monmouth County to compete in this long running series.
