On Sunday, May 12, 2013, the Hoboken Harriers Running Club
and All Saints Community Development Corporation held the Mother of All Races, the 15th Annual HOHA Classic.
The event included a Baby-jogger Jaunt (exclusive event for runners pushing baby joggers),
a 1-mile Fun Run for children, and the 5-Mile Race.
Proceeds from all events will benefit the Jubilee Center, a non-denominational community center in
Hoboken that provides after school youth programs.
Excellent weather was enjoyed by participants and spectators
alike. A special thanks to everyone who helped to make this a wonderful success.
Start getting in shape for the Shore AC Fall Cross Country Series, which takes place over six consecutive Saturday
mornings in the Fall. There are various course run, all approximately 5K, and it is a club competition, cumulatively
scored. More details will follow, but this year the series will likely be every Saturday AM from September 28 to November 2.
The HOboken HArriers Running Club held the 17th Annual HOHA Snowball, which was Friday, February 15th at the Elk's Club in Hoboken.
Proceeds from the event benefitted local charities, including United Cerebral Palsy of Hudson County and the Jubilee Center. The event included dinner,
catered by La Isla Cuban Restaurant, and live music performed by Hoboken Acoustic Jam (7:30-9PM) and Swingadelic (9-11:30PM), great local music.
