On Sunday, May 16, 2010, the Hoboken Harriers Running Club
and All Saints Community Development Corporation will hold the 12th
annual HOHA Classic 5-Mile Race, starting at 10 a.m. at Pier A Park, one
block north of the PATH station. A shorter, 1-mile Fun Run will be held
at 9:30 a.m.
Proceeds from the race, which winds along the Hoboken
waterfront and through the campus of Stevens Institute of Technology,
will benefit the Jubilee Family Life Center, a non-denominational
community center in Hoboken that provides job training and after school
youth programs.
For the 5 Mile Race, advance registration through May 8th is $20, and race
day registration is $25; the fun run is $5. Registration closes 15
minutes before each race.
Applications can be obtained at Fleet Feet
(604 Washington St.) and
Hoboken Golf (125 Grand St.).
T-shirts will be provided to runners while supplies last.
Pre- registered runners are guaranteed shirts. In the 5 mile run,
awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in

The HOboken HArriers Running Club hosted the 14th
Annual HOHA Snowball on Saturday, February 27th at the Hoboken Elk's Club.
Cuban food was once again provided by La Isla
restaurant in Hoboken, and live music was be provided by Swingadelic.
Over $2000 was raised to benefit two worthy local charities, the
Jubilee Family Life Center and United Cerebral Palsy of Hudson County.
The Monmouth County Fall Cross Country
Series, which took place over six consecutive Saturday mornings in the Fall,
is a team competition. A good group of HOHAs competed well last fall, and we hope to continue to
support this excellent event.
